Pier & carbon-fiber-strap spacing bands
These are the spacing conventions the calculators use — labeled planning bands, not an engineering spec. A licensed structural engineer sets the real pier count, load and strap spacing for your wall and soil. Use the piering and bowing-wall tools to apply them: count = length ÷ spacing.
| System | Typical spacing | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Push / helical piers | ~6–8 ft | Set by the engineer for your soil & load |
| Carbon-fiber straps | ~4 ft (band 3–5 ft) | For bowing walls under light load |
| Wall anchors | ~4–6 ft | Needs exterior yard access |
